Broker's Comments

This is a nice example of the ever popular Moody 31 MKII. They are a great family cruiser with plenty of space and this boat has been on the Isle of Man since 2007 when she cam over from Scotland where she started out life. She was built in 1991 and first sold in 1992 by Holt Leisure Parks, Kip Marina.

The boat was bought recently by an IOM surveyor who owns a shipyard on the island. The boat was damaged when a crane lifting the boat knocked it into its cradle and put a small hole in the side of the boat. The previous owner claimed on his insurance and sold the boat on the island. The shipyard have repaired the hull and gone through the boat and have checked the keels boats which were good, which they are. They also serviced the engine and have plashed the propellor. The standing rigging is 14 years old so would need replacing but there is nobody on the island who can do that so it will need to be done by the new owner but the boat has been priced to cover that. The boat can also be sailed over to Fleetwood or Glasson Marina if needed.
The boat is well equipped and comes with lots of kit such as 4 x lifejackets, 2 x personal Epirbs, safety harnesses and decent navigation equipment including AIS.
