Broker's Comments

Possibly the best cruiser racer of all time, the Contessa 32 was first designed in 1970 and has proven itself for both racing and seaworthiness in all conditions. It was a Contessa 32 that was the only yacht in the small boat class to finish the disastrous 1979 Fastnet race.

With the present owner for the past five years, this yacht is currently ashore awaiting new adventure. With berths for six, including two doubles, a full sized forward facing Nav station with quarter berth, a good sized galley with fridge & icebox and an attractive chesterfield style saloon area, this vessel is practical and homely with a traditional feel.

With pretty lines, a hank on headsail and a slab reefing mainsail, the deck is easy to move around and she has a deep, safe cockpit.

A trustworthy & versatile yacht for offshore or local sailing in all seasons, come rain or shine, calm or rough seas.
