The Southampton Boat Show is now Europe’s largest outdoor festival of boating with over 2km of pontoons . Monday 20th July to Friday the 25th saw a great display of some the loveliest classic yachts assembled in Cowes for a weeks racing.

It was a blustery, sunny day giving perfect weather for The "Round the Island Race 2015". 1584 boats racing around the Isle of Wight, approximately 60 miles. Neap tides were 3 days prior to the start of the race, with high water at Cowes being around 08.30. Racing started at 07.00 with the large boats, and the smallest boats started last.
The Royal Southern Yacht Club in Hamble was pleased to announce its campaign to establish a new Wetwheels boat to be berthed in the prestigious new Prince Philip Yacht Haven for the benefit of disabled and disadvantaged people of all ages in communities around our rivers and coastal waters.
